Kate Robertson is an author, marketer, wrangler of two tiny people and one giant man-child. She lives in the ‘burbs just outside of Toronto, Ontario, where she enjoys eating wings and beer and online shopping.
I grew up wanting to be a ballerina or a witch, but also an overwhelming desire to please my parents. The parent pleasing won out so I opted for a practical education from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and then a Masters of Business from the Schulich School of Business at York University because according to my father “you can do anything with a solid business education behind you.” He was not wrong.
Writing is my next “anything.” I love to craft entire worlds based on the wild thoughts that live inside my beautiful brain. My writing lets me become a hopeless romantic librarian for a few hours, then a can-can dancer at the Moulin Rouge. When I’m not writing, I can slip back into the real world and do my own taxes because my MBA still comes in handy.
My writing career has yet to take off, so there’s lots of time to grab a coffee, jump on board and see where I’m off to next. Feel free to leave your info below or follow me on Twitter (for writing-related thoughts) or Instagram (to voyeuristically look in on what I’m up to in life.)
